GenBank Accession:  The unique identifier for a sequence record. An accession number applies to the complete record and is usually a combination of a letter(s) and numbers, such as a single letter followed by five digits (e.g., U12345) or two letters followed by six digits (e.g., AF123456). more infoThis search will retrieve all Protein ID found in the Genback Accession and detail all information about the Protein IDs (gene, intron, exons, and sequence).

Results:  Ouput can be in either Protein or DNA, only Protein Search will create SKY format

INTRO:
The GenBank Accession search, provided by SEDB, is designed to retrieve information on exon/intron structure for Protein ID found in a GenBank Accession Number.  Datasets are created in both FASTA and SKY formats. The SKY format denotes the exon positions and intron phase in color (phase 0 red, phase 1 green, and phase 2 blue) and is only created doing a Protein search.
